At Montarelo Recruiting, we are seeking a C++ Software Developer to join a team of developers based in Madrid. This team is responsible for developing a Warehouse Management System, a leader in the Industry 4.0 intralogistics market.

C++ Software Developer in Madrid – (hybrid)

Education and Training
Technical training (advanced technical college, university of applied sciences, or
technical university) or relevant experience.

Mandatory skills
• Experience programming in a Windows environment.
• Experience working with std, boost, GTest, and gRPC.
• Experience working with Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience writing automated tests.

Valuable skills
• Experience programming in a Linux environment.
• Experience with Qt Creator and legacy code.

Languages
• Spanish: Native language, otherwise business fluent
• English: Very good Business English is required (excellent communication skills). At least B2 level.
• German: Valuable for the position but not mandatory.

Salary
A very competitive salary package.

Working from home
3 days a week (flexibility available).

Job location
Madrid. A European Union citizen; otherwise, a valid work permit is required.

Expected travel
Very limited, just a 1-day trip every three months or so, only during the weekdays, to Austria.

Description of the position

They are looking for a C++ Software Developer to join the team responsible for developing a Warehouse Management System, a leader in the Industry 4.0 intralogistics market.

Working experience

More than three years of experience developing in C++.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features, maintenance, and bug fixing in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Assistance in drawing up concepts for product development for the adjustment and expansions in the Jungheinrich WMS/WCS (Warehouse Control System).
• Detailed preparation of concepts in the form of work
preparations.
• Assistance in co-creation developments in C++ as well as
adjustments of the product core.
• Detailed preparation of test plans and execution of
module/integration tests and system tests.
